Remember the epic duel scene between McGonagall and Snape?
Prof. McGonagall steps forward to defend Harry Potter and goes full monty on Snape.
Snape, on the other side, is scared. Scared… that he may have to hurt an amazing colleague of his, whom he has known for years.
Now, watch the scene closely and observe what he does in response.
He not only merely chooses to deflect her attacks, but at the same time redirects them at the two Death Eaters standing behind him. Both of them go down in an instant.
And… only after that, the man chooses to exit the duel.
Least bothered of being called a “coward”. Least bothered of being misunderstood yet again.
