Today is raining all day and it seems next 3-4 days the same. So mostly indoor we stay.

But it will come again the day we can chill outside

 It is starting to look like a garden, a messy one, a small one, compared with the surrounding ones, but still a garden.

after the spring months without rain, which I think is also the cause for my carrots not getting their heads out the ground, the rain is here as is a normal month in Netherlands, like there is no day without rain for a while

and again, with it the slugs came also, eating my veggie's leaves

3 lines of cabbage and cauliflower these fuckers ate, in tandem with ze birds

anyway, fuck it

so I had to add more slugs traps and yeah I kill some every day

here is the status update:

I didn't plant any potatoes but some came out, probably from before so I moved it out together and hopefully I get some

this is actually not far from the community garden, in the same park,

am with my bitch Puf, of course

 so after months of good, even warmer than usual, weather the Netherlands typical one is returning.

that means rain, rain, rain. And with it the slugs come out. Unfortunately they already eat some of my leaves, cabbage and cauliflower but they attacked my spinach too.

So I started some traps:

I filled them with beer.

The cheapest, from Lidl :)

I threw them over the compost pile

But on more positive note I got my first harvest today:

 so from all initial seeds I can see like 1/4th, and smaller than it should be

at this time, the cabbage , red cabbage and cauliflower seedlings had the 

leaves eaten completely by ... something.

I see some nasturtium seedlings coming up but I bought 4 marigold pairs and put it here and there,

also some new cabbage, cauliflower and peppers seedlings, bought yeah,

and planted some more carrots from seeds since nothing came out from original ones.

I have to say since the first time I planted it rained only for 2 days, in 2 months and was more warm than any spring...
